I love Halloween… Nothing like playing with big knifes and scaring children – but not at the same time.

Here was an interesting job that I came across last week. An architectural supplier located in Connecticut contacted me needing photos of several large buildings in the area. The catch, it’s been a while since the project closed so I needed to be “inconspicuous” while I took the photos – which can be tough. Needless to say, the results look pretty good.

So, I’m a little behind in updating the blog. But, two weekends ago I surprised Marisha with a trip to St. Augustine to “officially” propose to her and present her the engagement ring (no clue about that either). I booked two nights at the Casa de Solana, located in the historic downtown district. Obviously she said yes and had a wonderful time to boot. We arrived kind of late Friday night (7:30ish), and quickly made our way to find something to eat. We had a wonderful dinner at the AIA Ale Works, where I started dropping hints to the wonderful weekend she will have. Afterward we headed back to the room to get ready for bed. While she was in the bathroom washing her face I scrambled around and surprised her with the ring, on my knee, and proposed. She loved it.
From here it was a great weekend. The next morning we enjoyed a great breakfast and headed out to the “Fort.” My favorite part – watching them fire the canon. We then explored the town and made our way back to the B&B for a nap. That evening I planned a wonderful dinner for us at the Raintree, which is a Steak & Seafood restaurant in an old Victorian House. By far, one of the best steak dinners I have ever had! Afterwards we changed, visited the wax museum, and took a ghost walk of the town. Such a nice weekend.

Here’s a project I recently undertook with the Ozone Company, who are in the midst of launching their company off the ground. The guys are great to work with, and if you have the time, please stop by their website and look over all the services they offer. This project was fairly straight forward, they have a livewell/baitwell system and they need to get it in front of the consumers. After the design was finalized we passed it off to the programmer to get it moving & on the web. We also took the site one step further and developed a trade show display for the upcoming Ft Lauderdale Boat Show . A fun project so far with a lot more coming in the future.
Please take a look at what we have so far www.ozonelivewells.com.
Update
This company has since fallen under hard times and closed shop. Lessons have been learned in the process!

Yep, that’s right. I was the big winner this week. I’m a regular reader of the photoinduced website/blog, which I highly recommend taking a look at. Anyways, it’s a photography site with lots of interesting features included a weekly giveaway of some sort. Well, this week I received a brand new Lowepro backpack in the mail, which will be perfect for taking the field 4×5 camera out on location with me. I’m so happy!
