I love Halloween and all the memories associated with it. The thought of dressing up as a kid, and scouring the neighborhoods looking for candy. What a fun time. And of course, there’s no reason not to be a little kid sometimes and dress up. This year I decided to be death for the parties, and I loved it. I had a big black robe and of course, a really big stick (sickles are out). Next year, I’m going to have to modify the stick to add some spookiness to it. And of course, one of my favorite traditions of the Halloween time is the carving of the pumpkin. I must say, I’m mighty proud of my evil pumpkin this year!

One of the scariest things that could probably ever happen in life is having your identity stolen. Thankfully, I have never had to live this horror, and I hope I never will. But, it does help to know what is happening under your name and your credit. So, this is a friendly reminder for everyone reading this blog, be sure to take advantage of your free credit reports courtesy of Uncle Sam. Just visit annualcreditreport.com to start the process. It’s fast & easy, and you’ll learn a lot about what people can find out about you!
Also, check back soon because I want to get a good picture of the pumpkin I carved this weekend.

I’m writing this today to let everyone know I had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a while. Let’s see, it started out early, with a trip to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios on Thursday evening. Marisha, Jen & I went and were scared out of our minds walking through the Psychoscareapy house – by far one of the best ones yet. And then we finished off the night with a ride on the Revenge of the Mummy.
Friday night, Marisha had her Friday the 13th party, which was a lot of fun. I’d rather not go into details, but I’ll say it took most of Saturday for my body to catch up to me. But, all was not lost. We had a nice dinner at Macaroni Grill and enjoyed The Guardian, which was a really good movie.
And then Sunday, Marisha took me to Epcot for the International Food & Wine Festival. In which, I must give her a huge thank you for the experience. We got there and jumped on Soarin’, which is one of the newer experiences in the park. The best part, I’ve been to many of the places they show on the video, which made it more interesting. Then, we explored the countries and had our fill of foreign foods before jumping back on the rides. Finally, after a long day we unwound with Mick & Jen at Downtown Disney and called it a perfect end to a perfect weekend! Thanks everyone!

So, it’s been a few days since I’ve posted in here. I will admit, I’ve been busy and avoiding technology for the past few days. I was able to get out last Thursday night and play with the cameras for a little while in a local park. A friend, Mick, invited me to go shooting with him, so I took the 4×5 camera as well as the digital. Shot around 80 photos, but the card crashed on me. And I setup the 4×5 to take a photo, but the light faded to fast for me to get the shot I wanted. It was fun to get out, but… Other than that, there are several other interesting projects happening. I recently quoted a project for updating keywords/search engine status for a site, so I’ve delved in elbows deep re-learning the ins and outs of what makes the internet tick. Also, in the office I’ve been playing with a FreeBSD server and setting up different open source programs to increase the knowledge base. All in all, I can’t complain!
